Interest · Application · Welcome
Here is the complete path from joining the Interest List through becoming an inducted Alpha Delta Zeta member.
Women age 21 and older may join the nonfinancial list now to receive official opening updates.
Founding Membership applications are planned to open between January and March 2027 and then remain available year-round.
Complete the official application, choose a monthly membership circle, and pay the first month's dues as the final step before submitting.
The Membership Committee reviews completed applications and communicates the decision and next steps directly.
Approved applicants learn the Society's values, expectations, traditions, and opportunities to participate.
New members are formally welcomed into the sisterhood at the next scheduled ceremony.
For example, several approved women who apply on different dates in July may all attend the August New Member Orientation and Induction together.
The Membership Experience
Every part of membership is designed to help women feel seen, supported, inspired, and connected to something larger than themselves.
Intentional gatherings designed to turn introductions into lasting friendships.
Hands-on opportunities to support women, families, and neighborhoods throughout Indianapolis.
Networking, member spotlights, skill sharing, and leadership development.
Encouragement and wisdom shared across generations and seasons of life.
Signature dinners, cultural outings, retreats, celebrations, and cherished traditions.
Founding members help shape the customs, programs, and future of the Society.
Presence · Communication · Care
Membership is more than a name on a roster. It is a sincere commitment to help build the sisterhood we all want to experience.
Make a consistent, good-faith effort to attend gatherings, join conversations, support service projects, and take part in the life of the Society.
Respond to important Society communication and let leadership know when work, family, health, caregiving, or an unexpected season affects your availability.
Monthly dues help sustain the Society, but active membership also means offering your presence, ideas, encouragement, talents, or service whenever reasonably possible.
Treat every woman with respect, protect appropriate confidences, reject cliques and bullying, and help create a welcoming environment where all members can belong.
Represent Alpha Delta Zeta with integrity and participate in the sisterhood, service, growth, and legacy-building that members come together to create.
A Sisterly Standard
We understand that life happens, and members are not expected to attend every event. Alpha Delta Zeta is, however, intended for women who genuinely want to participate and remain connected. Members are expected to make a consistent, good-faith effort to attend when they can, engage in Society conversations, support our programs and service, and communicate when a difficult season limits their involvement. Paying dues alone does not fulfill the spirit of active membership. When life becomes especially demanding, honest communication allows the sisterhood to respond with understanding, care, and appropriate support.
Founding Membership
Each circle includes the same valued membership. Higher levels simply provide additional support for programs, service, and sister care. Complete the membership application first, choose your circle at the final step, and pay the first month's dues before submitting the finished form. Afterward, dues are paid monthly, with the choice of optional automatic payments or manual payment by the monthly due date.
Emerald Circle
An accessible foundation for full membership and sisterhood participation.
Sisterhood Circle
Full membership with added support for Society programs and member experiences.
Legacy Circle
Full membership with a generous contribution toward service and sister-support efforts.
Clear & Responsible Stewardship
Membership dues help create, operate, and sustain the Alpha Delta Zeta experience. They may support approved expenses such as:
The amount used in each area may vary as programs and needs change. Dues are used for the Society's approved purposes and are not distributed as personal profit to the Founder, officers, or individual members. Additional costs for optional trips, merchandise, or special activities will be disclosed in advance.
Prices shown are base monthly dues. Applicable taxes and permitted payment-processing fees will be calculated and added at checkout. Your complete total will be shown before payment.
Sisterhood With Compassion
We never want one difficult season to erase a woman's sense of belonging. Alpha Delta Zeta offers two separate forms of temporary support for eligible current members. Each option may be used only once during a membership year.
Temporary Financial Assistance
The Fund may help pay up to one month of membership dues for an eligible member facing an unforeseen financial difficulty. Depending on the circumstances, an approved temporary-hardship request may provide support for up to two months of dues as one assistance period.
One Month of Breathing Room
An eligible member may request one dues-free month during each membership year. If approved, the regular dues for that month are waived and do not need to be repaid. This is separate from Butterfly Sister Fund assistance and should be requested before the monthly due date whenever possible.
The Butterfly Sister Fund and Annual Dues Pause do not cover application fees or the first month's dues required when initially applying for membership. Support is temporary, is not guaranteed, and is offered with dignity, fairness, and discretion under the Society's approved policies.
Good to Know
We are building an inclusive women's society centered on genuine friendship, community service, personal growth, joyful social experiences, and meaningful legacy.
The Interest List only asks to notify you when applications open. It is not an application, does not require payment, and does not create or guarantee membership. The official application is a separate, more complete process that is currently available only to review.
When applications open, women age 21 and older may apply. We are committed to a multigenerational and inclusive sisterhood that respects women of every race, culture, background, ability, and life experience.
No. We understand that work, family, health, caregiving, and unexpected circumstances affect availability. Members are not expected to attend every event, but they are expected to make a consistent, good-faith effort to participate, remain connected, respond to important communication, and contribute to the life of the Society. Paying dues alone is not considered active participation. If a difficult season limits your involvement, we ask that you communicate with leadership so we can respond with understanding and care.
No dues or payments are being collected at this time. When applications officially open, you will first complete the official application and select the monthly membership circle that best fits you. Your first month's dues payment must be completed as the final step before you submit your application. Afterward, dues are paid once each month. Automatic monthly payments will be available for convenience, but they will not be required; members may instead make each payment manually by the published monthly due date.
Dues support member programs, event hospitality, service supplies, recognition, thoughtful member care, administration, and the growth of the Society.
Founding Membership applications are planned to open between January and March 2027. Join the Membership Interest List now to be notified as soon as applications are officially live.
No. Once applications open, they will be accepted year-round. The Membership Committee will review applications as they arrive, and approved applicants will be invited to the next scheduled New Member Orientation and Induction Ceremony.
The Leadership Application is available to read, but submissions are not yet open. Leadership roles are unpaid volunteer positions and applicants must first be current Alpha Delta Zeta members in good standing.
Eligible current members in good standing may request confidential temporary assistance once per membership year. An approved request may help with up to one month of dues or, for a qualifying temporary hardship, up to two months as one assistance period. Assistance is not guaranteed and depends on eligibility, available funds, and committee approval. The Fund does not cover application fees or the first month's dues required when initially applying for membership.
The Butterfly Sister Fund may use available assistance funds to help an eligible member pay approved dues during an unforeseen financial hardship. An approved Annual Dues Pause gives an eligible member one dues-free month that does not have to be repaid. Each option is separate and may be used once per membership year, subject to its policy and approval requirements.
The Society is beginning in Indianapolis. Any future virtual opportunities or expansion to additional communities will be announced only after plans are formally established.
